SPORTS TOURSplaying tours
If you are organising a sports tour for your club, company or college team we have the specialist knowledge required to make sure that all your needs are not only met but exceeded. We can negotiate with the airlines for extra baggage allowances if required as well as making sure that all accommodation and transport on the ground runs smoothly. In some countries our operators may be able to organise fixtures for you if you don't already have these planned.
Experience tells us that the playing squad members are often not finalised until quite near to departure due to selection and injury so we'll make sure that you have as much flexibility as possible with names from the outset.
GROUP PROFILE: Ealing Rugby Club
Total Group: 300
Number of adults: 140
Number of children: 160
Number of rooms: 100
This was one of the largest playing rugby tours to travel from the UK to the southern hemisphere with some 300 players and spectators making the trip. With children as young as 7 years old travelling and playing, this trip required more meticulous planning than the usual senior sports tours. Matches were played at schools and clubs around both Cape Town and Durban and the tour proved to be a resounding success. The group are pictured in front of their clubhouse, about to depart for Heathrow Airport, having just been checked in for their flights by British Airways and South African Airways staff.
